ViewSonic X11-4K home cinema projector launches with 0.8 short throw and LED light source
The ViewSonic X11-4K projector is a new lamp-free projector from the brand. The device uses LED technology to provide up to 2,400 lms brightness, with an expected lifetime of up to 30,000 hours. The short throw lens can produce images up to 100-in (~254 cm) wide from a distance of 5.8 ft (~1.8 m), thanks to a 0.8:1 short throw ratio.
The X11-4K has native 4K Ultra HD resolution and built-in color reproduction technologies, such as Cinema SuperColor+, with 125% Rec.709 color accuracy. The gadget has instant auto-focus, and you can adjust the four corners, alongside horizontal and vertical keystone, to perfect your set-up. The device has built-in Harman Kardon speakers with dual sets of 8 W tweeters and woofers. You can connect to the projector via a range of ports like HDMI ARC, USB-A and USB-C, with a 37 ms input lag. Plus, the gadget supports wireless screen mirroring via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, with flexible audio options.
You can control the device via a dial on top of the gadget, the ViewSonic vCastSender smartphone app, or an accompanying smart remote control that lights up when lifted.
