Belkin BOOSTCHARGE PRO Dual USB-C GaN Wall Chargers arrive with 45 W and 65 W versions
The Belkin BOOSTCHARGE PRO Dual USB-C GaN Wall Charger has been launched in the US, with 45 W and 65 W variants. The gadgets used GaN technology to make an efficient and compact charger with protection from overheating. The devices support PD 3.0, and PPS charging technology optimizes the output voltage for the connected devices. The plug is compatible with various gadgets, including the Google Pixel 6, iPhone 13, MacBook Pro and Galaxy S21 Ultra.
The 45 W wall charger has two ports, offering a maximum output of 45 W or a combined output of 25 W and 20 W; this allows you to charge two phones simultaneously. The 65 W version has the higher 65 W maximum output, or you can simultaneously power two devices at 45 W and 20 W. For example, you could charge a MacBook and iPhone at the same time. According to Belkin, using either charger, you can charge an iPhone 13 to 50% in 28 minutes or a Samsung Galaxy S21+ to 50 % in 27 minutes.
You can pre-order the Belkin BOOSTCHARGE PRO Dual USB-C GaN Wall Charger 45 W model for US$39.99, with shipping expected to start in September. The 65 W version is already available, costing US$49.99. While the company suggests the gadgets are portable, it is unclear precisely what size they are and how much they weigh.
