The EcoFlow DELTA 2 power station has been revealed. The portable device has a 1,025 Wh energy storage capacity and a maximum power output of 1,800 W, allowing it to power 90% of appliances, according to EcoFlow. For example, you could charge an 11 Wh phone 89 times or a 60 Wh laptop 16 times. Plus, you can link up to three units to extend the capacity to 3 kWh.
The company suggests you could use the device to power your home during an outage, tools in your garden or gadgets on the go. There are 15 outputs, including 100 W USB-C, 1,800 W AC and 18 W USB-A fast charging ports. You can recharge the LiFePO4 battery to 80% in 50 minutes; options to charge the DELTA 2 include via solar power at up to 400 W, in three to six hours, or via a wall outlet at up to 1,200 W.
With Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity, you can view real-time information about the power station and control various settings in the accompanying smartphone app. The portable power bank weighs 27 lbs (~12 kg) and measures 40 x 21.1 x 28.1 cm (~15.7 x 8.3 x 11.1-in). The EcoFlow DELTA 2 will launch on September 16 for US$999. Customers who purchase the device before September 23 will receive a free waterproof bag with their purchase.
