TCL T7G 4K TV launches with 144 Hz refresh rate and NFC tap-to-cast feature
TCL has launched the T7G TV series in China for pre-order. The device is available in four screen sizes: 55-in, 65-in, 75-in and 85-in. Dynamic local dimming from the backlight allows a high contrast ratio for precise light and dark details, with a peak brightness of 1,000 nits. The Android TV supports 4K at 144 Hz with a 3840 x 2160 px resolution for an Ultra HD experience.
The display has a 96% DCI-P3 color gamut, and the Q Image Engine provides 12 image-enhancing tools. Various technologies are supported by the T7G, such as Dolby Vision IQ, Dolby Atmos, Dolby Vision Gaming and DTS-HD. The range-topping 85-in TCL TV has five 60 W speakers for a 2.1, and an intelligent AI sound field can optimize the listening experience based on the space in which the TV is placed.
Tools which you can use on the TV for gaming include VRR and ALLM. You can connect devices, including games consoles, to the device via three HDMI 2.1 ports, with data transfer speeds up to 48 Gbps. Another way to connect to the TV is by tapping a compatible smart device onto an NFC card to begin casting.
You can currently pre-order the TCL T7G TV in China for the discounted prices of 3,599 to 8,999 yuan (~US$526 to ~US$1,315). To secure one of the TVs, you need to pay a 100 yuan (~US$15) deposit, and the devices are expected to retail from 4,499 to 10,999 yuan (~US$657 to ~US$1,607) after the pre-sale period.
