The Optoma ZU1100 is a new professional projector released as part of the company’s DuraCore laser lineup. The DuraCore technologies include laser diode cooling techniques to enhance the lifetime and durability of the product. Optoma claims that the laser light source can last longer, up to 30,000 hours. The device supports portrait and 360° orientation, with horizontal and vertical keystone correction up to 20° in each direction.
The device has seven interchangeable lenses, such as an ultra short throw lens and a single projector dome lens; the shortest possible throw ratio is 0.36:1. The HDBaseT input makes the gadget easier to install with a simple cable set-up. Inputs on the device include HDMI 2.0, 3D sync and DVI-D. Plus, the product is IP6X-rated dust resistant to prevent damage to the product. The projector measures 484 x 529 x 207.8 mm (~19.1 x 20.8 x 8.2-in) and weighs 21 kg (~46 lbs).
