With its Redmi series, Xiaomi offers smartphones of the entry-level and mid-range that distinguish themselves with their good price-performance ratio. The manufacturer includes a particularly wide offering palette in its current Redmi Note series. There is a total of five Redmi Note smartphones of the entry-level and midrange that compete for the favor of buyers.
Redmi Note 11 series always with AMOLED
The current Redmi Note series starts with the Redmi Note 11, which is available for about 170 Euros (~$169), and the top model is the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G for 370 Euros (~$368). All smartphones of the series share one particular feature: An AMOLED screen is always included, which offers a refresh rate of 90 Hz already in the smallest model.
After the Redmi Note 11, the 6.43-inch Redmi Note 11S is the second most affordable Redmi Note smartphone, costing 200 Euros in the web shop of the manufacturer. For that you get the already mentioned AMOLED screen with 90 Hz and a processor that is slightly faster than that of the basic model. The test shows that the octa-core MediaTek Helio G96 SoC ensures a solid everyday performance for the Redmi Note 11S and that stutters or other delays remain the exception with the smartphone.
PUBG Mobile runs smoothly
Although the integrated ARM Mali-G57 MC2 graphics chip by far isn't one of the fastest of its kind, also losing the performance competition against the pixel accelerator of its Redmi Note 10S predecessor, current games still run fine without requiring too many compromises. For example, PUBG Mobile runs smoothly at 30 FPS in the HD/High setting.
