Xiaomi has revealed the Redmi Note 11S, a device that has an Indian-specific launch as well. As Xiaomi had already confirmed, the Redmi Note 11S has a 108 MP main camera, which the company emphasises on the device's camera housing. Additionally, Xiaomi equips the Redmi Note 11S with an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 2 MP macro camera and a 2 MP depth sensor.
By contrast, the Redmi Note 11S has a 16 MP front-facing camera, which sits behind a punch-hole in a 6.43-inch display. Also, the AMOLED panel resolves at 1080p, marketed as FHD+, and has a 90 Hz refresh rate. As official renders show, the Redmi Note 11S has three thin display bezels, plus a comparatively thick chin.
Meanwhile, a MediaTek Helio G96 powers the Redmi Note 11S, along with a 5,000 mAh battery. According to Xiaomi, the Redmi Note 11S supports 33 W fast charging and will come with an appropriate charge in its box. The Redmi Note 11S will be available in Graphite Gray, Pearl White and Twilight Blue, too.
The Redmi Note 11S starts with 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. However, Xiaomi will also offer the smartphone in 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage variants. The Redmi Note 11S will be available from January 28 for US$249 or US$279 if you want 128 GB of storage. Incidentally, Xiaomi will offer the base configuration at a US$20 discount on AliExpress during launch day. For reference, Xiaomi will charge US$299 for the Redmi Note 11S with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage.
