Xiaomi Redmi Note 11S 5G details leak with a global release on the cards
It seems that Xiaomi could be preparing to announce another Redmi Note 11 series handset, having already released a dozen within a few months. While Xiaomi has not started teasing any new Redmi Note 11 smartphones, the FCC has indicated that this could be the case. As the screenshots below show, Xiaomi has registered the 22031116BG with the FCC, with the 'G' suffix denoting that Xiaomi intends to sell the device globally.
Understandably, the FCC does not reveal the marketing name of 22031116BG. However, it confirms that Xiaomi will sell 22031116BG as a Redmi-branded smartphone. Additionally, it remarks that 22031116BG is 'electrically identical' to 21091116AG, the model number of the POCO M4 Pro 5G. In other words, 22031116BG has a MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC and a 5,000 mAh battery, among other features.
Moreover, the FCC reports that 22031116BG will be available in single-SIM and dual-SIM variants. Similarly, it states that Xiaomi has created four memory variants:
- 4 GB of RAM/64 GB of storage
- 4 GB of RAM/128 GB of storage
- 6 GB of RAM/64 GB of storage
- 6 GB of RAM/128 GB of storage
Incidentally, searching the various IMEI numbers included in the FCC's documentation returns the model name 'Redmi Note 11S 5G'. In short, Xiaomi is planning to re-release the POCO M4 Pro 5G as the Redmi Note 11S 5G, having already unveiled the Redmi Note 11S.
