The Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro 2 are on the way
Samsung uncharacteristically launched the Galaxy S22 series last month without any audio gadgets to accompany them. The company is set to remedy that, though, and is tipped to debut new Galaxy Buds in August at its Unpacked event.
As revealed by tipster @chunvn8888, the Galaxy Buds Pro 2 will be the new Samsung TWS earbuds to launch in August. The leaker provides no other details about the second-gen Galaxy Buds Pro presumably because it's early days yet. However, better audio, improved active noise cancellation, as well as longer battery life can all be expected.
As previously reported, this means that the Galaxy Buds Pro 2 will launch alongside the Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Z Flip4. The Galaxy Watch 5 is also tipped to debut at the same event. Pricing is unknown but considering Samsung's pricing of the Galaxy Buds and Galaxy Buds 2, the Galaxy Buds Pro 2 could set buyers back US$199.
According to @TheGalox_, Samsung may also be testing a body temperature sensor on an upcoming Galaxy Buds device. That's unlikely to be the Galaxy Buds Pro 2, though, with Samsung more likely to debut the feature exclusively on the Galaxy Watch 5.
