Samsung has previously released the Galaxy Z Flip3 in a large box full of Pokémon-themed extras; now, it has done the same for the Galaxy Buds2. Its main selling-point might be the new Pokéball-shaped box in which the original charging case for the TWS earphones can be stored.
Admittedly, this optional purchase might be a nice idea on its own (particularly as it is reportedly compatible with the Galaxy Buds Live or Pro as well); however, a consumer has to buy a whole new pair of Buds2 in order to get one. It does, at least, also come with 1 of 11 official and exclusive Pokémon stickers.
The Galaxy Buds2 Pokémon Edition is priced at 134,000 won (~US$105, or not too far off their current US price, at least), but is not in stock at the moment. The peripherals' other limited edition, however, is available to buy in South Korea right now.
It consists of the Buds2, this time in their onyx black colorway only, with a branded Pepsi can-like outer case - which, according to the OEM, is worth 25,000 won (~$20) on its own. This Samsung.com/sec exclusive is priced at 119,000 won (~$93), an offer in effect until the end of May 2022.
