Sony WF-1000XM4s and a Walkman are unveiled as Kingdom Hearts 20th Anniversary Limited Editions
Kingdom Hearts is enjoying its 20th anniversary in 2022, and Sony has just announced that it will not let this occasion go unmarked without limited-edition devices. The electronics giant has chosen one of its personal audio peripheral flagships for this purpose, with might go with the modern-day Walkman variant to match.
The Sony WF-1000XM4 Kingdom Hearts 20th Anniversary Limited Edition (or WF-1000XM4/KH20) set of TWS earbuds come in black, as with many of its standard counterparts. However, in this case, the finish acts as a background for an elaborate, appropriately-themed new paint job.
The Sony Walkman NW-A105 - one of the OEM's updated media players with the classic branding - has gotten the same treatment, along with a new and possibly exclusive skin for the Android-based UI visible with its color TFT screen.
It is set at 36,000 yen (~US$282) for 16GB of total storage and no headphones in the box, whereas the new WF-1000XM4/KH20s go for 34,000 yen (~$266) on Sony Japan's Walkman web-store.
These WF-1000XM4s might be plain black, but they can just be ordered on Amazon today.
