OnePlus has brought the Nord CE 2 Lite to Europe, having released the device last month in India. For reference, the Nord CE 2 Lite arrives alongside the Nord 2T and the Nord Buds, discussed separately in the appropriate hyperlinks. Although the Nord CE 2 Lite is a cheaper alternative to the Nord 2T, it still has plenty of features going for it.
To recap, the Nord CE 2 Lite measures 164.3 x 75.6 x 8.5 mm and weighs 195 g, within which OnePlus has included a 6.59-inch display. While only an IPS panel, the large display has a 120 Hz refresh rate, a 2,412 x 1,080-pixel native resolution and an 84.1% screen-to-body ratio. Moreover, OnePlus has included a 16 MP front-facing camera, which has an f/2.0 aperture and 1.0 µm-wide pixels.
Also, OnePlus equips the Nord CE 2 Lite with a 64 MP primary camera that has an f/1.7 aperture and 0.7 µm-wide pixels, along with dual 2 MP cameras for macro and depth of field information. All these cameras interact with the Snapdragon 695 5G chipset, which OnePlus underpins with a 5,000 mAh battery that is capable of 33 W fast charging. Incidentally, the Nord CE 2 Lite ships with OxygenOS 12.1 that OnePlus bases on Android 12.
The Nord CE 2 Lite will be available across Europe, including the UK. Furthermore, OnePlus will sell the smartphone in Asia and the Middle East, plus Chile and Mexico. At launch, OnePlus will offer the Nord CE 2 Lite in Black Dusk and Blue Tide finishes with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. Both colour options will retail for €299 and will be pre-orderable from OnePlus directly on May 19, or from third-party retailers as of May 24.
