OnePlus Nord Buds CE are set to launch in India at the start of August 2022

OnePlus has followed its first-gen Nord smartphone with a steadily growing series of the same devices. In fact, it has even had its own CE spin-off since then, for more affordable variants rated to retain the line's "Core" properties. Now, these handsets are getting their own matching TWS earbuds - in name, at least.

The OEM indicates that these accessories are to take a basic AirPod-clone form-factor to date, although it is doing the drip-feed thing to tease its specs day by day in the run-up to their debut. Therefore, all we know for sure about the first-gen Nord Buds CE is that they have fairly generous 13.4mm "Dynamic Bass" drivers for "smooth and heavy sound".

OnePlus also hints that they will definitely be priced between INR 2,199 and 2,999 (~US$28-38, or a sum of "2x99") on their debut. On that note, despite the fact that the company has a global event all lined up for the 10T, a flagship variant tipped to become available in India, it is also going to launch these Nord Buds CE by themselves 2 days earlier: on August 1, 2022.
