The OnePlus 10T is projected to launch as a flagship smartphone that will break the OEM's current top limit for RAM soon. The SKU in question might just have shown up on Geekbench in a leak that could confirm its new selling point. However, some potentially disappointing twists for this tale have already emerged.

Currently, the OnePlus 10 series consists of 2 members: the R-variant and the Pro flagship. However, it may be joined by at least 1 additional variant in the near future. Confusingly, this "10T" has become linked to 2 very different model numbers. However, a new Geekbench listing might help provide an explanation.

According to the new benchmakring results, this "PGP110" runs Android 12, has a Qualcomm "taro" SoC with a 2.02GHz clock - and has 16GB of RAM. Therefore, rumors of a 10T SKU with this new-to-OnePlus top-end spec may now have that much more weight.

Then again, despite its supposedly ground-breaking properties, the '10T Extreme Edition' has posted scores falling short of those associated with both a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 (as it seems this is the processor in question) reference device and a pre-launch ROG Phone 6-series unit with the same amount of RAM, and by an unhealthy margin, too.

Then again, it is possible that the OEM has yet to optimize its OxygenOS and ColorOS builds for the purported new parameter. On that note, it may indeed need both: those located in the EU or North America and who would take a chance on a putative 16GB 10T anyway may be disappointed should the variant truly become exclusive to China and India as currently rumored.
