OnePlus touts its Nord N20 as an excellent entry point into the 5G smartphone market. Then again, this route has only ever gone through T-Mobile in the US thus far. However, it is now available in the same country as a carrier-unlocked device through its own brand as well as other sellers such as Amazon from now.

The Nord N20 5G is one of OnePlus' lesser-spotted US market exclusives, and is also an increasingly rare microSD card slot-touting smartphone. Now, it is also compatible with more SIM cards as well thanks to its freshly-released unlocked variant.

These SKUs of the Nord N20 are thus an option for customers on services such as Google Fi, AT&T, Mint Mobile or Simple Mobile, albeit unfortunately not Verizon (not even on 4G/LTE), depending on their plans and preferences. They are available at the phone's full retail price of US$299 on platforms such as Amazon and Best Buy as well as OnePlus' own US store.

On that note, that last option also comes with an offer of 20% off a pair of Nord Buds to go with a buyer's new N20, although OnePlus does not specify when this offer might expire.

Alternatively, the new Nord-series variant (still available in just one Smoke Blue colorway everywhere it is now sold) is also still available through T-Mobile for as little as $0 down, depending on a customer's plan.
