The OnePlus Nord series of gadgets is officially not just for smartphones any more (as with its Nord CE spin-off, for that matter) - in fact, it is expected to produce its first-ever smartwatch soon. Now, more details on this apparently health-focused wearable have allegedly emerged, courtesy of Mukul Sharma's Twitter feed.
The renowned tipster claims to have found some screens depicting this inaugural Nord Watch's smartphone app and its UI. These screens might thus reveal that this potentially upcoming device will look, among other interesting details.
The screens as posted reveal a new icon that might correspond to a real-life OnePlus Nord Watch, which, according to the "app", may be its brand's first-ever truly square smartwatch. It seems to have a black case, a single physical button and at least 1 strap color option (also black).
The Nord Watch is also depicted as supporting heart-rate and blood-oxygen monitoring, sleep-tracking and the ability to show a range of watchfaces. However, most interestingly, the app in question is not OnePlus' existing Watch app, but a new one called "N Health".
In fact, it may even have been developed to support Nord-series devices only. On that note, Mukul Sharma also now claims that it will launch in India, to start off with at least. Then again, there is no sign of pricing or a release date for the alleged first-gen OnePlus Watch follow-up.
