OnePlus has now endorsed a bunch of leaks and rumors pointing to the upcoming release for the first-gen Nord Watch, which drops the round form-factor of its predecessor for one more like some from other brands such as Realme.
On that note, the Nord Watch was linked to a whole range of designs ahead of its launch; however, they seem to have been whittled down to just one SKU after all. OnePlus has already confirmed that its 1.78-inch AMOLED display will have a 500-nit max brightness and a resolution of 368x448.
According to the OEM's teasers thus far, it will have just 1 black finish option. However, 91Mobiles claims to have uncovered further renders that hint at a second option: blue - not unlike the shade upon which many of the "100+ online watch faces" prepared for the wearable seem to be based.
This color will apparently be applied to the Nord Watch's case, side-mounted button and stock Watch-like band, as it is in the black version. Presuming they are genuine, these new renders also yield some potentially interesting UI details.
Chief among those is One-tap Measurement, a screen on which the user can have their own stress, heart-rate and blood-oxygen metrics lined up in the same little list at a single tap. The new leak also purports to confirm sleep-tracking in the upcoming OnePlus Nord Watch.
The OEM has yet to specify when this new wearable will launch, although it may not be until its feature drip-feed campaign ends. It is slated to run from tomorrow (September 24, 2022) until September 28 thus far, after which the Nord Watch might launch in full.
