OnePlus has announced the release date of the Nord 2T, its much-leaked smartphone and successor to the Nord 2. While OnePlus has only shared minimal teasers so far, all the device's key specifications have leaked, as have official marketing renders and even US pricing. Incidentally, a YouTuber has already published a hands-on video with the Nord 2T, discussed earlier this week.
According to OnePlus, the Nord 2T will arrive on May 19, two days after the Ace Speed Edition debuts in China. For reference, the Nord 2T will be available in Europe, the UK and the US, among other markets. Based on the company's promotional page, today's teaser will be one of three ahead of next Thursday's reveal. Incidentally, OnePlus has confirmed that the Nord 2T will support 80 W SuperVOOC charging, up from 65 W in the Nord 2. Other upgrades include a MediaTek Dimensity 1300 chipset, but the Nord 2T will share its predecessor's cameras, display and battery capacity.
Moreover, the same promotional page states that OnePlus will release the Nord 2T alongside the Nord CE 2 Lite and the Nord Buds, at least in Europe and the UK. Neither of these products is new though, although they will be new to Europe, the UK and the US. As we have covered separately, OnePlus has already revealed the Nord CE 2 Lite and the Nord Buds in India, where it started selling the pair on April 28.
