While word of OnePlus's supposed most ambitious smartphone yet, the OnePlus 10 Ultra, has been hard to come by, information from multiple quarters indicates that the flagship is in the works.
According to leaker Yogesh Brar, the OnePlus 10 Ultra is on the way. Supposedly, the phone is already in testing, which would imply that it's in the latter stages of development at the very least. The leaker claims that the flagship will focus on cameras and overall performance, thanks to the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus. Earlier reports from China already touted the TSMC-made Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus to power the OnePlus 10 Ultra.
Camera-wise, it'll be interesting to see what direction OnePlus opts for with the OnePlus 10 Ultra. While the OnePlus 10 Pro holds its own in that department, the company leaves some performance on the table, at least in terms of hardware. For some perspective, the OnePlus 10 Pro appears to use an identical main sensor to last year's OnePlus 9 Pro, while switching to a smaller sensor for the ultra-wide-angle camera.
