Update: The new special edition of the GT Neo 3 150W is now indeed a go as part of the OEM's "618" (referring to the OEM's upcoming anniversary) celebration. On its reveal in full, it exhibits a new black and orange (what else, really?) colorway replete with the symbols, accents and crests one might expect from an official Naruto smartphone.
It comes not merely in a new box but an entire scroll-like vegan leather canister, which contains the phone itself, a version of its cutting-edge SuperVOOC power brick and cable in new colors, a Naruto-themed case and an equally special-edition Powerbank 3 Pro thrown in as well.
This new version of the accessory also has its own sales listing, at 179 yuan (~US$27). The Realme x Naruto GT Neo 3 150W itself is set at 3,099 yuan (~$460) for a single 12GB/256GB RAM/storage SKU, and will be available in a batch limited to 5,000 units.
Original Article: Realme has been said to have a new and more premium Android tablet in the works. Now, this Pad X has been added to the OEM's official website, as well as to the JD.com sales portal, ahead of the device's official launch tomorrow (May 26, 2022).
The new, last-minute official leaks confirm most of the slate's rumored specs, its 11-inch 2K display and colorway that makes it look like an oversized GT Neo2/Q5 Pro hybrid included. Then again, there is no mention of its alleged Qualcomm platform for now, which is a shame as it might help confirm whether the Pad X will really support 5G or not.
Either way, it is also now certain that it will debut alongside another limited-edition device. It is pretty apparent from a new teaser that the GT Neo 3 has been chosen to become the first-ever Realme x Naruto smartphone.
So far, this collaboration seems to have yielded a new camera hump re-styled to be much more badge-like, and has also been extended to exhibit all the logos and branding required.
On the other hand, none of these official new tips suggest how much the Pad X and Neo 3 Naruto Edition will cost. This will be announced tomorrow at 14:00 Bejing time (or 08:00 CET).
