Months ago, word of the Galaxy Buds Pro 2 surfaced for the first time. From all available information, Samsung will launch the premium earbuds later this year alongside the Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Z Flip4, and a new leak has now revealed even more details of the Galaxy Buds Pro's successor.
As revealed by GalaxyClub, the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro 2 will carry the model number "SM-R510". This would be a strong deviation from the established number scheme for the Galaxy Buds series—the Galaxy Buds 2 bear SM-R177, the Galaxy Buds Plus are coded as SM-R175, and the Galaxy Buds Pro have the "SM-R190" designation. At the moment, it's unknown if the change in model numbers indicates incoming hardware upheavals.
The Galaxy Buds Pro 2 will bring at least one upgrade on their predecessors, though. Reportedly, the earbuds' case will come equipped with a 500 mAh battery, versus the 472 mAh unit the Galaxy Buds Pro's charging case offered. Not much but still honest work, most would agree.
