Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro 2 to miss out on Unpacked
At Unpacked in August, Samsung will debut a handful of new devices, with the Galaxy Z Fold4, Galaxy Z Flip4, and Galaxy Watch 5 series essentially confirmed for launch. It appears, however, that Samsung's next-gen earbuds, the Galaxy Buds Pro 2, may be absent.
As revealed by @chunvn8888, the Galaxy Buds Pro 2 will not make an appearance at Unpacked. This is contrary to prior reports that the premium earbuds would debut alongside the Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Z Flip4. Instead, the source seems to indicate that Samsung will bring the Galaxy Buds Pro 2 later in the year, but likely just after Unpacked.
Supposedly, the Galaxy Buds Pro 2 began its development rather late, and Samsung never had plans for an Unpacked debut in the first place. For some perspective, concrete rumors of the Galaxy Buds Pro 2 first appeared in early March. Details of the Buds Pro 2 remain elusive but they're expected to carry the model number "SM-R510" and feature a 500 mAh case battery.
