Realme debuts its new Smart TV X Full HD in India
Realme debuted hardware from various different categories, from the GT Neo 3 to the Buds Air 3, today in India; however, of these, the Smart TV X Full HD is probably the most novel. The OEM has now confirmed the leaks surrounding this new potential smart home hub, including the fact it has only 2 40- and 43-inch size options.
Their Dolby Atmos-enhanced speakers have also now been confirmed to come in 2x2 configurations per Smart TV X Full HD unit, and are rated for so-called "Cinematic Surround" audio. Realme has also now underpinned the TV X Full HD's "Premium Bezel-less Design", having borders that shrink to as little as 5.76mm.
The smart screen as a whole also comes with a Realme "Smart Remote" with buttons for its inbuilt Google Assistant controls, as well as for Netflix, Amazon Prime, and YouTube. On that note, the TV X Full HD's UI might be one of its most interesting aspects, being more up-to-date than the average (something that cannot be said for the Pad Mini, unfortunately).
It is based on Android 11, and is thus rated for a new Auto Low Latency Mode that should kick in during gaming sessions. Finally, the Smart TV X Full HD also features a range of connectivity options, although seriously high-end specs such as HDMI 2.1 go unmentioned.
The Realme Smart TV X Full HD (40-inch, Black) starts at INR 22,999 (~US$301) from its release via Realme's web-store - however, the OEM has strongly hinted at a discount of INR 1,000 for this base model on its first day of sale: May 4, 2022.
The larger model seems not to have much of a celebratory offer on its release the following day, and will start at INR 25,999 (~$340) instead.
