Details about the new bezel-less Realme Smart TV X Full HD revealed ahead of launch
Details about the new Realme Smart TV X Full HD have been revealed ahead of the product launch in India on April 29th. Listings on Realme and Flipkart’s websites describe some specifications, with an industry source confirming further details to MySmartPrice.
The TV will come in two screen sizes, 43-in and 40-in. The gadgets are billed as having a bezel-less design, with a 5.76 mm (~0.23-in) bezel. A full HD LED display brings a 1920 x 1080 px resolution and support for HDR 10 content. It’s worth noting that the device will not support Dolby Vision or HDR 10+ media.
The gadget has Realme’s Chroma Boost picture technology to enhance the image’s brightness and color. Also included is a 24W four-speaker system with Dolby Audio technology. A MediaTek quad-core processor will power the devices with ARM Cortex-A55 CPU and Mali-G31 MP2 GPU. Plus, the TVs have 1 GB RAM and 8 GB of storage.
The new Realme Smart TV X Full HD is expected to have Android TV OS and support Chromecast and Google Assistant, similar to the 32” Realme Smart TV Full HD. The TV series is expected to retail in India for between Rs 25,000 and Rs 30,000 (~US$326 and US$391). Given the pricing, this device is expected to rival the upcoming Xiaomi Mi TV 5A, which will launch on April 27th.
