Realme 9 Pro Plus: Free Fire Edition lands in Europe at a discount for Early Bird orders
The Realme 9 Pro Plus Free Fire Edition has arrived in Europe, just a few weeks after the smartphone debuted in Thailand. According to Realme, the Free Fire collaboration aims to 'disrupt the status quo of rigid and bland smartphone design with creativity and personality'. Realme adds it will follow up on the Free Fire Edition with more collaborations for the GT Neo 3 series. While the company has confirmed that these collaborations will be available in Europe, it has yet to provide any other details.
Fundamentally, the Free Fire Edition is a Realme 9 Pro Plus with a few accessories and a different colourway. As the photo above shows, the Free Fire Edition comes with a universe map and custom stickers that 'pay homage' to the game. Also, Realme bundles a 60 W SuperDart power adapter, an accompanying USB cable, a screen protector and a smartphone case.
Moreover, the Free Fire Edition has a Dimensity 920 5G chipset, a 90 Hz Super AMOLED display measuring 6.4-inches across and a 4,500 mAh battery. Like the regular model, Realme has included a Sony IMX766 (50 MP) with OIS as a primary camera, plus 8 MP ultra-wide and 2 MP macro lenses. The Realme 9 Pro Plus Free Fire Editon starts at €419.99 but will be available at €369.99 on Amazon with an Early Bird offer. For some reason, the accompanying Amazon link is not working yet, despite being provided on Realme's website.
