Xiaomi has launched the 2022 Redmi Smart TV A58, now available to pre-order in China. The device has a 4K display to deliver over 1 billion colors, and an ultra-thin bezel allows a 95.4% screen ratio. The gadget comes with MIUI TV, enabling you to use the TV to control other smart home devices.

The 2022 Xiaomi Redmi Smart TV A58 is now available to pre-order in China. The 4K Ultra HD TV has a 58-in display, with 3840 x 2160 px definition. Xiaomi claims that the device uses over 1 billion colors to deliver richly colored images with a 60 Hz refresh rate.

A dual speaker system with two 10 W speakers is built into the smart TV, delivering immersive stereo sound with boosted bass. The gadget has a thin bezel with a 95.4% screen ratio, measuring 1,285 x 806 x 260 mm (~50.6 x 31.7 x 10.2-in), including the stand.

The smart TV is powered by a quad-core processor with a Mali GPU, 1.5 GB of RAM and 8 GB of flash memory. There are many ports on the device, including USB, HDMI, AV input, antenna connection and S/DPIF audio output.

The gadget comes with Mi Player and MIUI TV smart home control centre, allowing you to control other smart home products through the TV. Plus, you can mirror connected Android or iOS smartphones and Windows or Mac laptops on the TV.

You can now pre-order the 2022 Xiaomi Redmi Smart TV A58 in China for 1,599 yuan (~US$244). After this presale period, the price of the product will increase to 1,999 yuan (~US$305). It is unclear whether or when the device could be released in other markets.
