Xiaomi has unveiled the Vision 55 TV during its major Indian product event of today (April 27, 2022); however, for those who would prefer their new high-end OLED panel fits in their pocket instead, the 12 Pro has also been made official. The OEM lost no time in touting its 15 DisplayMate A+ awards and SGS Eyecare-approved status during its latest press conference.
The Xiaomi 12 Pro is also now promoted as India's first ever smartphone with quad stereo speakers, hardware that is also tuned by Harman Kardon, support Dolby Atmos, and boast Snapdragon Sound thanks to its 8 Gen 1 platform.
The 12-series flagship has also brought its triple 50MP rear cameras with it, as well as its 120W HyperCharge technology, rated to charge its 4,600mAh battery from 0 to 100% in as little as 18 minutes. Finally, Xiaomi 12 Pro units will ship with MIUI 13 based on Android 12 out of the box.
They have arrived in India as 8GB or 12GB RAM SKUs, either of which has 256GB of internal storage, priced at INR 62,999 and 66,999 (~US$823-875) respectively (excluding any HDFC/ICICI discounts and introductory coupons as applicable) as of May 2, 2022. They can be found on Amazon.in, mi.com/in, the Mi Home app and other Xiaomi sales channels in their Noir Black, Opera Mauve, or Couture Blue colorways from that date.
