POCO F4 GT leaks on Geekbench running Android 12 with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and 12 GB of RAM
The POCO F4 GT has appeared on Geekbench, shortly after Xiaomi confirmed the device's release date. Benchmarked as the Xiaomi 21121210G, the POCO F4 GT has a taro motherboard, codename for the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. As such, the Xiaomi 21121210G has three CPU clusters, a prime core running at 3 GHz, three other cores clocked at 2.5 GHz and four energy-efficient cores that reach 1.79 GHz.
For reference, these clock speeds match Qualcomm's reference speeds, so the POCO F4 GT will not be overclocking its chipset for extra performance. Also, the POCO F4 GT will not rely on the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus, which is expected to arrive this summer. Still, the POCO F4 GT matches the median of other Snapdragon 8 Gen 1-powered devices that we have benchmarked in Geekbench 5, with single-core and multi-core averages of 1,238 and 3,640, respectively.
Moreover, Geekbench describes the POCO F4 GT as having 12 GB of RAM, mirroring the Redmi K50 Gaming on which it is based. If the POCO F4 GT follows the Redmi K50 Gaming exactly, Xiaomi will also release an 8 GB of RAM SKU, plus 128 GB and 256 GB of memory options. Separately, the POCO F4 GT will launch with Android 12, which is not always a given for new Xiaomi smartphones, such as the Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus.
