Xiaomi 12 Lite, POCO F4 Pro, POCO F4 Pro Plus and mystery Redmi smartphones appear on the EEC
Xiaomi has certified more upcoming smartphones with the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), Russia's equivalent to the FCC in the US. Typically, companies like Apple and Xiaomi certify devices with the EEC before selling them in Europe, as do graphics card manufacturers such as Gigabyte.
This time, @yabhishekhd and @xiaomiui have noticed EEC registrations for the Xiaomi 12 Lite and multiple POCO F4 devices. The listings, screenshots of which we have embedded below, do not reveal many details about the devices. However, they do link model numbers to certain Xiaomi's sub-brands. For example, EEC reports that 2203129G belongs to the Xiaomi brand, rather than Redmi or POCO.
Based on previous leaks, 2203129G is the Xiaomi 12 Lite, codenamed 'taoyao'. Additionally, the EEC contains listings for the 22021211RG and 22011211G; both believed to be part of the POCO F4 series. Reputedly, Xiaomi will sell these devices as the POCO F4 Pro and POCO F4 Pro Plus, respectively.
Hence, we should expect Xiaomi to reveal the Xiaomi 12 Lite and at least two POCO F4 series devices within the next few months. A few other mystery Redmi devices have shown up too, including the 22031116BG. Unfortunately, it is unclear what these devices are at this stage.
