Xiaomi has already acknowledged the Redmi K50 series, which it has confirmed will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, 120 W charging and a 4,700 mAh battery. A launch date remains unknown at this stage, but Xiaomi has teased that the series will arrive in February. To date, the company has published two teasers, reproduced below.
Incidentally, a Redmi K50 series device has turned up on Geekbench in several listings. According to the listings, the device also has 12 GB of RAM and runs Android 12, presumably the MIUI 13 version of it. The same device, which has the model number 21121210C, has also appeared at the 3C and TENAA, both in China. Seemingly, Xiaomi will bundle a 120 W charger with the Redmi K50 series, as it does with the Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus and its Indian equivalent, the Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge.
Third-party cases for the Redmi K50 series have emerged on Weibo too, highlighting three rear-facing cameras and a wide LED flash array. Reputedly, Xiaomi will equip the Redmi K50 series with JBL-branded speakers, mirroring the Redmi Note 11 series. Potentially, Xiaomi could re-use this design with the POCO F4, apparently the global version of the Redmi K50 Pro.
