The long-awaited Redmi K50 range of smartphones is now tipped to start to emerge as Chinese New Year specials from their maker Xiaomi. Now, Digital Chat Station asserts that the OEM is indeed drawing close to this rumored deadline with official registrations for 3 of the series' variants.
The K40 successors are indeed rumored to be of this number - at least, with alleged variants that run from the potential Ultra to a Gaming Edition, probably with additional vanilla and Pro versions in the mix as well. According to Digital Chat Station, those that have now been certified have the model numbers 22021211RC, 22011211C and 22041211AC.
The tipster neglects to mention the product names to be borne by either, however. The popular Weibo user does vaguely intimate that one will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 870, whereas the other 2 are MediaTek silicon vehicles, with a flagship Dimensity 9000 as well as its mid-range counterpart the 8000. Then again, only the former has actually been confirmed as yet.
Could the Redmi K50 series also introduce this new 2022 chipset? We may not have much later to wait to find out.
