Xiaomi dominates the 2021 China Mobile Awards thanks to the impressive Mi 11, Redmi Note 10, and Redmi K40 series
Xiaomi's meteoric rise to the top is well-documented. The company toppled Apple to become the second-largest smartphone brand in the world in Q2, and overthrew Samsung to earn that crown in Europe. Back home in China, too, Xiaomi is getting the accolades it deserves.
At the recently concluded China Mobile Awards, Xiaomi dominated the opposition by earning a podium finish in all segments of the award. In the premium CNY 4,500 category, the Mi 11 Ultra finished second behind the Galaxy S21 Ultra, while the Mi 11 Pro claimed fourth place behind the OPPO Find X3 Pro.
In the CNY 3,500 to CNY 4,500 category, the Mi 11 finished fifth, with first to fourth going to the OPPO Find X3, Honor 50 Pro, OPPO Reno 6 Pro+, and OPPO Reno 5 Pro+, in that order. In the CNY 2,500 to CNY 3,500 price segment, the Mi 10S finished second. Xiaomi swept the sub- CNY 2,500 segment, however, with the Redmi K40 Gaming Edition, Redmi K40, and Redmi Note 10 Pro finishing first to third.
It didn't end there either, as the Redmi Note 10 was awarded the Communication Index Energy Saving Award, while the Mi 11 Ultra earned plaudits with the Best Shot Vlog phone. An extremely impressive performance by Xiaomi all things considered, and one that shows how competitive the company is across all market segments.
