Xiaomi has finally started selling the Soundbar 3.1ch, a device that it unveiled in November. Currently only available on Xiaomi Spain, the Soundbar 3.1ch should launch in other countries eventually. For example, Amazon Germany has listed the soundbar on its website, but it is marked as temporarily out of stock.
According to Xiaomi's global website, the Xiaomi Soundbar 3.1ch has three full-range speakers, three tweeters and a 6.5-inch wireless subwoofer. Supposedly, these speakers generate up to 430 W of power, split 180 W for the soundbar and 250 W for the subwoofer. The Soundbar 3.1ch supports Dolby Audio, DTS Virtual:X and NFC for quickly pairing a smartphone, too. For reference, Xiaomi has included a Bluetooth 5.0-capable modem as well.
Moreover, the Soundbar 3.1ch has coaxial, HDMI, optical and USB connections, plus a smart remote control. Additionally, Xiaomi has equipped the 86 x 11.5 x 6 cm soundbar with a dot-matrix OLED display that shows various messages, such as its active input. By contrast, the subwoofer measures 21 x 29.7 x 37 cm. The Xiaomi Soundbar 3.1ch costs €279, including shipping and its wireless subwoofer.
