Eufy launches Video Doorbell Dual with an early bird bonus
The Eufy Video Doorbell Dual is now available for pre-order, following its reveal at CES 2022. This device’s unique selling point is its two cameras, which the company claims remove blind spots and provide more protection.
The upper 2k camera has a 160-degree field of vision and is designed to provide detailed images of people at your door. The lower 1080p camera has a 120-degree view and is downward facing so that you can monitor your parcels. The device also can notify you when a package arrives and if anyone approaches it so you can take action.
The doorbell is fitted with a PIR sensor to recognise body heat and a radar detector to pick up movement. Combining these sensors helps the gadget detect people over general motion, and its artificial intelligence tool means that it can recognise friends and family.
The smart doorbell has up to 6 months of battery life and can be used with voice assistants like Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. You don’t need to pay for any subscriptions or cloud services to use the device, and it comes with the required Homebase 2 hub.
Customers in the US, UK and Germany can buy the Video Doorbell Dual from Eufy for US$259.99 (or €249), with early bird bonuses for those who pre-order. These gifts include a free entry sensor and Eufy’s monitoring service for two months. The gadget will be available on Amazon and BestBuy later this month.
