EZVIZ pitches its new C6 camera at parents or pet-owners anxious about leaving the home for work again
EZVIZ has packed its latest C6 security camera into an unobstrusive spherical chassis that can fit in anywhere indoors as an always-on monitor for pets who may have to get used to having their owners away from them much more often.
Accordingly, the user can access the C6's feed, rated for up to 2K+ in resolution, all day, and can also do so hands-free thanks to the camera's AI. It is rated to intelligently track the subject around a given room, zooming and panning at need to keep it in the shot.
Alternatively, should a C6 owner really need to turn their attention to their work, the AI can take the watch and only raise notification-worthy alarms such as unusual, potentially dangerous, incidents in the home, noises such as objects breaking or barking included.
In cases of a child alone in the home, it can be programmed to recognize the "emergency signal" of a waving hand in front of the lens and push an alert to a parent's smartphone accordingly. The new EZVIZ camera also has a sleep mode, which tips its lens up toward the ceiling, that can be activated as will should the user want some privacy.
The C6 can connect to a user's devices via Wi-Fi, use microSD cards or EZVIZ' CloudPlay service (may require a subscription) to send or store its recordings. It is available for US$129.99 on Amazon from now.
