EZVIZ C3W Pro launches as an up-to-date outdoor security camera with motion-activated color night vision

EZVIZ is back with its latest outdoor security camera, the C3W Pro. It is of the same form-factor as the C3X rather than, for example, the C8W Pro, and as such focuses on potentially full-color vigilance night and day rather than pan-tilt-zoom surveillance.

With the dual spotlights mounted on either side of its main lens and "professional optical lenses", EZVIZ asserts that the C3W Pro can capture "crystal clear" footage in high detail even at night, and in color too. It can also be set to switch on automatically in response to movement.

The C3W Pro is also rated for night vision without the spotlights thanks to its IR system that can 'see' up to 30 meters (or 98 feet) in front of it, although the resulting footage will be grayscale in that case. It is also equipped with a two-way mic system to ward off or welcome human visitors as required.

On that note, the camera is rated to distinguish between humans and animals thanks to its AI, for potentially improved notification alert selectivity. These features are all packed in a metallic housing with an IP67 ingress-protection rating to (hopefully) withstand weather and damage.

On the other hand, additional specs such as a siren, a strobe light or a 2K resolution is missing here. It is rated for 1080p video only (albeit with "advanced" H.265 compression to save space on an up-to-256GB microSD card), although this allows the C3W Pro to start at US$89.99 on Amazon.
