Psync Camera Genie S launches touted as world's first GPT-powered indoor security camera

Psync Labs, Inc's new product might look like a particularly inventive mini projector; however, the start-up has designed it to be a "vertical angle 5MP 2K security camera". The Camera Genie S also incorporates the large language model (LLM) GPT rated to deliver a smart home recording experience that goes "beyond just seeing and hearing".

The Camera Genie S is rated for a "world-first" AI facility called ViewSay that "builds an image-to-text vector database" from its observations of what happens around a user's home that should eventually allow it to tell humdrum everyday life from "unexpected but precious" lifestyle content-worthy occurrences. 

ViewSay is also rated to become capable of the "keyword, phrase, and text-based search for specific video segments" that might result in the same kind of 'personalized' personal content assistant service for which the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3's new AI features are also rated.

The Genie S is also touted to deliver night color vision as well as the event, alert and notification filters of other AI-powered security cameras, and for a pan-tilt-zoom perspective touted to make "users feel fully immersed in their homes" when they use its mobile app. The new Psync security camera has started at US$34.99 for a unit with 32GB storage and US$39.99 for one with 64GB of storage.
