OnePlus has announced an imminent launch for new TVs, albeit for the Indian market only, via Twitter. The upcoming Y1S will be accompanied by an Edge variant of the same during this event, thereby already hinting at a price difference between the two.
The brand has yet to indicate how this potential variation will pan out, or which tier either TV will fall into on its debut. However, it has released a design preview for at least 1 of them, suggesting an updated reprisal of the existing Y-series design with what seems to be a new matte finish for the line's current minimal chin.
Otherwise, the upcoming OnePlus Y1S and Y1S Edge might be expected to run much the same Android TV-based OS as its predecessors, with possible scope for new "smarter" display or UI options.
OnePlus has yet to reveal when the 2 new big screens might become available, also there is a new sign-up sheet for more information on this event on its Indian website at present.
