OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G specifications revealed by new leak
Back in the day, OnePlus launched two phones a year, making it relatively easy to keep track of its product stack. Things have been getting progressively messier over the years, and 2022 is poised to keep it that way. There is now a OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G in the pipeline- essentially a watered-down version of the OnePlus Nord CE 2, which in itself is a cheaper Nord 2 5G. A previous report speculated more Nord-branded devices are to be launched soon, so there's no telling how deep this Russian nesting doll goes.
Reliable leaker @OnLeaks (via Smartprix) revealed the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G's specifications. It will run a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC for 5G connectivity, for starters. There are three camera sensors at the back: a 64 MP wide-angle lens with two 2 MP modules, probably a macro/depth sensor combination. A 16 MP front-facing camera will handle selfies and video calls. Other OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G specs include a 6.5-inch FHD+ IPS LCD panel and a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 33 W fast charging.
There's no telling when the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G could see the light of day. In all likelihood, OnePlus will unveil it alongside the Nord CE 2 on February 11. Then there's the OnePlus Nord 2T in the equation, too, which will be revealed later in the year, probably alongside the OnePlus 10 Pro. All the Nords aside, the OnePlus 10R is one device to look forward to because of its Dimensity 9000 SoC.
