OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G release date reportedly set for February 11
We know quite a lot about the OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G, formerly known as the OnePlus Nord 2 CE 5G, thanks to several leaks from earlier. Its iPhone-like design hosts remarkable upgrades, but the iconic alert slider seems to be gone. Even its tentative release window was outed recently, and now Twitter leaker Max Jambor has given us the exact OnePlus Nord CE 2 launch date.
OnePlus will launch the second iteration of the Nord CE 2 5G on February 11. Max's Tweet doesn't mention any specific region, so we can assume that the launch will be global. While the smartphone might pique the interest of mid-range smartphone seekers, it also sheds light on the OnePlus 10 Pro's global launch rumoured to happen a month after the OnePlus Nord CE 2.
So far, we've learned that the OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G will pack a Dimensity 900 SoC, a 90Hz FHD+ AMOLED screen, four rear camera modules spearheaded by a 64MP sensor, and a 5,000mAh battery. It could be priced around the US$300 region. That is pretty good value considering the specs; however, many users will think twice before picking one up, given the battery issues rampant in OnePlus Nord phones.
