Deal | Dell Inspiron 15 with AMD Ryzen 7, 1080p IPS touchscreen, 16 GB RAM, and 512 GB SSD on sale for $750 USD
Dell is currently running a sale on its 15.6-inch Inspiron 15 5515 laptop for $189 USD off the original launch price of $938. The deal is notable for its fast AMD Ryzen 7 5700U CPU, 1080p touchscreen, and 16 GB of removable RAM to be comparable to many pricier Ultrabooks sporting Intel Core i7 CPUs in terms of overall performance.
Though we've yet to review the Inspiron 15 5515, it shares a very similar skeleton to the Intel-powered Inspiron 15 5518. Users will like the easy serviceability and support for up to two internal M.2 SSDs, but expect the aluminum chassis to flex more readily when compared to something like the XPS or HP Spectre.
The timing of the sale is interesting as AMD is expected to unveil more about the Zen 3+ Ryzen 6000U series very soon. Dell may simply be clearing stock on some of its existing Ryzen 5000U models to make room for their eventual refreshed versions.
