Dell is currently offering its budget Inspiron 15 3000 3511 laptop for $175 USD off the already inexpensive launch price of $485. The deal is notable as the Inspiron 15 3511 is the latest model in the series and not just some older design that the manufacturer is trying to clear stock of.
Highlights of the configuration include the 11th gen Core i3-1115G4 CPU and 15.6-inch FHD IPS-type display which will be faster and better than most anything in the same $300 range where Celeron, Atom, and lower resolution panels are much more common.
Cut corners include the limited 128 GB NVMe SSD and just 4 GB of single-channel RAM. Fortunately, the bottom panel of this particular laptop can be removed very easily to reveal 2x SODIMM slots and 2x storage bays (M.2 2280 + 2.5-inch SATA III) for quick upgrading. Owners will have to live without any integrated USB-C ports, however.
Expect our full review on the Inspiron 15 3511 in the coming week.
