CES 2022 | Dell unveils the Alienware Tri-Mode Wireless Gaming Mouse for ambidextrous gamers
Left-handed gamers will be pleased to know that Dell has launched a new ambidextrous mouse at CES 2022. The Alienware Tri-Mode Wireless Gaming Mouse has four symmetrically-placed customized side buttons and weighs just 89 grams. There's RGB, too, thanks to AlienFx.
The Alienware Tri-Mode Wireless Gaming Mouse comes with a 26,000 DPI sensor that can hit a max speed of 650 IPS and an acceleration of 50G. All of its eight buttons can be reprogrammed via software. Dell claims that the left/right-click switches will last for 70 million cycles apiece. Lastly, the mouse has a polling rate of 1,000Hz over Wi-Fi and USB.
Like the Alienware Tri-Mode Wireless Gaming Headset launched alongside it, the Tri-Mode Wireless Gaming Mouse can operate in three modes: Bluetooth 5.2, 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, and USB. One can get up to 420 hours of battery life over Bluetooth and 140 hours over Wi-Fi, and a five-minute charge is enough to power the mouse for up to 20 hours.
The Alienware Tri-Mode Wireless Gaming Mouse uses a proprietary charger that snaps onto the mouse, allowing you to use it while charging. It is available in two colours: Lunar Light and Dark Side of The Moon. Availability will start on February 9 in North America, China and EMEA (Europe, Middle-East, Asia) starting at US$149.
