The HyperX Cloud Core Gaming Headset is a US$69.99 gaming headset with removable accessories. The headset is available in one colour and has 53 mm drivers, among other features.

HyperX has revealed the Cloud Core Gaming Headset, a headset that the company has designed for 'an immersive in-game audio experience'. Accordingly, the headset supports DTS Headphone:X that creates 3D audio spatialization. The headphones only support a wired 3.5 mm connection though; there is no Bluetooth, Wi-Fi or USB support.

The Cloud Core Gaming Headset relies on 53 mm drivers with neodymium magnets. The closed-back headphones deliver a 15 Hz - 25 kHz frequency response and have an impedance of 60 Ohms. HyperX has manufactured the headset using an aluminium frame and memory foam ear cushions covered with leatherette. As a result, the headset weighs 283 g, and 295 g with its microphone attached.

According to HyperX, the bundled condenser microphone is Discord, and TeamSpeak certified. The microphone also offers noise-cancellation and is uni-directional. HyperX claims that the microphone delivers a 100 Hz - 12 kHz frequency response and a -42 dBV sensitivity (1 V/Pa at 1 kHz).

HyperX states that it will begin selling the Cloud Core Gaming Headset later this month. The headset will be available for US$69.99; pricing and availability in other regions remain unknown at this stage.
