CES 2022 | HyperX Pulsefire Haste Wireless Gaming Mouse: Lightweight gaming mouse launches with up to 100 hours of battery life
HyperX has showcased the Pulsefire Haste Wireless Gaming Mouse, a gaming mouse available in black or white. As HyperX's marketing images show, both colours feature a honeycomb hex shell design to reduce the mouse's overall weight. For some reason, the white model is 1 g heavier than the black model. Still, the white model only tips the scales at 62 g without a cable attached and 96 g if you use the bundled HyperFlex USB-C Cable.
For reference, HyperX includes a 1.8-metre long cable in the box. Meanwhile, the mouse itself measures 124.3 x 38.2 x 66.8 mm. According to HyperX, the mouse should last up to 100 hours between charges on its 370 mAh Li-ion polymer battery. The company's battery life estimate only applies when you use the mouse with its included 2.4 GHz wireless adapter, though.
The Pulsefire Haste relies on a Pixart PAW3335 sensor that offers up to a 16,000 DPI resolution. Additionally, the mouse has 400, 800, 1,600 and 3,200 DPI presets, along with a 40G acceleration and a 450 IPS speed. HyperX has included six buttons too, as we all as Golden Micro Dustproof Switches for the RGB mouse's left and right buttons.
The Pulsefire Haste Wireless Gaming Mouse will be available in February for US$79.99. HyperX has not confirmed pricing or availability for other markets, though. Presumably, the company will do so between now and next month.
