Yesterday, Xiaomi announced the imminent release of MIUI 13 for its global devices. The company is expected to debut MIUI 13 Global on January 26 alongside the Redmi Note 11 series, but already has builds ready for a few devices, including the Poco X3 Pro and Poco F3.
As revealed by Xiaomiui courtesy of MIUI code, both the Poco F3 and Poco X3 Pro already have early MIUI 13 builds ready to roll out, for both the Global and EEA ROM models—in the case of the Poco F3. For the Poco F3, codenamed "alioth", the Global ROM model has the build "V13.0.1.0.SKHMIXM", while the European model has the build "V13.0.1.0.SKHEUXM". The Poco X3, codenamed "Vayu" is set to the build "V13.0.1.0.SJUMIXM".
All of those builds are Android 12-based, which is likely to thrill owners of the Poco X3 Pro in particular. The Poco F3 getting the global MIUI 13 update on time is about expected, as the Mi 11X—the phone's Indian doppelganger—was listed for the first batch of the MIUI 13 global rollout. The Poco X3 Pro wasn't on that list, though, so this should gladden the hearts of owners.
