Xiaomi launched MIUI 13 a few days ago alongside the Xiaomi 12 series in China. The company released an early rollout schedule for the Chinese market, and has now followed that up by detailing its plan for the first batch of the MIUI 13 rollout globally.
As revealed by Xiaomiui, the company plans to send out MIUI 13 to a list of 19 devices sold outside China. Reportedly, these 19 phones will all get an Android 12-based version of MIUI 13. It's important to remember that MIUI works independently of Android versions, which means that some phones in the second and third batches of the rollout will get an Android 11-based version of MIUI. The list is as follows:
- Mi 11
- Mi 11 Ultra
- Mi 11i
- Mi 11X Pro
- Mi 11X
- Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE
- Xiaomi 11 Lite NE
- Xiaomi 11T Pro
- Xiaomi 11T
- Mi 11 Lite 5G
- Mi 11 Lite
- Xiaomi Pad 5
- Redmi 10
- Redmi 10 Prime
- Redmi Note 8 (2021)
- Redmi Note 10 Pro
- Redmi Note 10 Pro Max
- Redmi Note 10
- Redmi Note 10 JE
Evidently, every device listed is a current-gen model. There are some notable omissions at first glance, however, with the absence of the Poco F3 standing out. There's an obvious reason for that: the Poco F3 is sold in India as the Mi 11X, which is listed here. Owners of the Poco F3 have nothing to worry about.
Phones like the Mi 10T, Mi 10T Pro, and Mi 10 series are all last-gen models and as such, are not prioritized by Xiaomi. We expect those devices to get the MIUI 13 update globally as part of the second batch of rollout.
