Xiaomi Redmi 10 receives early MIUI 13 and Android 12 update globally
Xiaomi has brought MIUI 13 and Android 12 to the Redmi 10, one of the many budget smartphones that the company sells. Released last August, the Redmi 10 has a 90 Hz display, a MediaTek Helio G88 SoC and up to 6 GB of RAM. The device also has four rear-facing cameras, although two are 2 MP sensors for calculating depth and macro information.
MIUI 13 and Android 12 arrive on the Redmi 10 as V13.0.1.0.SKUMIXM. According to Xiaomiui, V13.0.1.0.SKUMIXM is only available to Mi Pilot testers. However, the website has published a link to the build's recovery zip file, which we have linked below. For reference, the link will download V13.0.1.0.SKUMIXM from Xiaomi's servers. Additionally, V13.0.1.0.SKUMIXM is a 2.5 GB download and is intended for MIUI's global branch.
If you would like to try MIUI 13 and Android 12 on your Redmi 10, you should sign up for the Mi Pilot scheme, which you can do through the Mi Official Survey Platform. Please note that you must be willing to supply your Mi Account ID and your device's IMEI number to be a Mi Pilot tester. Also, you can only participate in the Mi Pilot scheme if you are aged 18 or older. Xiaomi notes that Mi Pilot testers should be capable of recovering their smartphone if flashing fails, too.
