Xiaomi unleashes the premium-looking Redmi 10 Power and less pricey 10A on the Indian market
Redmi has brought the 10A to India. This phone has the same specs as in its earlier Chinese market launch, its 4G/LTE-only Helio G25 SoC and archaic microUSB cable for its in-box power brick included. It will be available in 3 to 4GB RAM SKUs from , starting at INR 8,499 (~US$111) from April 26, 2022.2
The new 10 Power, by contrast, is a new take on the Indian version of the 10, which leaked as the "10C", and is also thought to launch again as the POCO C4, prior to its launch. This device has a 50MP main camera, although this spec is offset with a 6.7-inch HD+ display of a standard 60Hz refresh rate driven by a Snapdragon 680 processor.
However, this one upgrades further with vegan leather rear panels in Power Black or Sporty Orange. Then again, the rest of its specs stay the same, which, despite its name, include its 6,000mAh battery and standard charging speed.
The 10 Power has 8GB of RAM (rated to be set even higher to reach 13GB thanks to Dynamic RAM Expansion), compared to 4 or 6GB in the vanilla 10. It starts at INR14,999 (~$195), although Xiaomi has yet to reveal when it will be available to order as yet.
