Dell has unveiled a few concept devices today, including Stanza. While Apple is tipped to eliminate ports from the iPhone at some stage, Concept Stanza already shows how that future could look. Given Dell refers to Stanza as a concept, it may not bring it to market in this state.
According to Dell, Concept Stanza has an 11-inch display and no ports, nor any speakers or cameras. The company's marketing images also show the device as having exceptionally thin bezels, seemingly too thin to hold naturally. Like the iPad Air, iPad mini and iPad Pro, Concept Stanza can recharge its active stylus wirelessly, which magnetically attaches to its chassis too.
In short, Concept Stanza is a note-taking tablet first and a graphics tablet second. Dell states that a dock would allow you to connect it to a computer if you wanted to take advantage of its second use case. Concept Stanza also recharges via a proprietary charging dock, rather than USB Type-C or a Qi wireless charging pad.
Dell has not offered many details about Concept Stanza at this stage. Potentially, the company could exhibit it and Concept Pari at CES 2022 in January 2022, but it has not confirmed that this will be the case.
